The third day brings the big hike:
Tamarak Lake,
2600' gain in 4 miles
The first notable stop is Summer's Meadow.
By the time we cross the first stream,
the branches are still coated in ice.
Intermittent snowfall, such as that to the right,
comes and goes all day.
