Finally, on the second full day,
Jim and Liz must venture forth.
Improvising dress for cold and wind,
they start on the low trail
and successfully make Mono Village.
At the first ford on the way back
to the cabin, Jim, despite the snow,
remembers to get some snapshots.
These are the types of pictures
that women have undoubtedly been protesting
their photographer husbands about for decades now.
The third ford is a piece of cake
on the improvised bridge.
