The Bug Display
The folks who run the Del Mar Fair asked Jim to help them
create a live insect display for the Children's Garden.
They did a great job on the display and
put a lot of effort into starting a mini-insectary.
Here is Jim posing by the display.
The first cage had plants with aphids on them.
Aphids are a common plant pests which suck the
sap of the plant like a mosquito.
In this photo, they are the yellow-green spots on the leaves.
