Desert Backpack
After breakfast Jaye leads most of the group
up Cougar Canyon for a day hike
while Lloyd takes the rest to look for a mine.
Soon enough it's time to get the
packs back on and begin the
6 mile trek back to the cars.
Without the rain we are more comfortable and
enjoy the rarity of a lush desert.
