Jim and his friends
from Oberlin go to Moab, Utah for
a little hang time and some
indulgence in beautiful scenery.
Here we are at the beginning of our mountain bike trip.
We're on top of the plateau; we're
about to descend rapidly to the road at the bottom
of the valley ahead.
Glickenhaus invents Ditch Diving on
the first turn of the ride.
It looks pretty nasty but he is essentially unbroken.
After some more hairy switchbacks we see the road
unfold along the valley below us.
