Cabin '05
Here some industrious beavers have built a dam
across the stream to make the large pond
in the foreground as well as the one across this photo
which creates the upper level in the background.
In the center of the photo, along the furthest edge
of the upper pond, is the beaver lodge.
Liz rests in a patch of wild flowers.
On our way down, we stop for a photo op.
Saturday we finish cleaning up and
start the long drive back to Escondido
contented with another wonderful
stay in the Sierras.
